Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. His debut album ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. It reached the top 8 spot within the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina in the following year. In 2021, he sang a duet. He sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo has declared that music is an essential part of his life. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. The first choice for his career was to be a veterinarian However, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban instructor.
